Capitals Weekend Practice: Ready for the Final Run

The Washington Capitals touched down in Las Vegas Saturday afternoon. First they held a crazy practice at Kettler Ice Plex, got cheered on by fans, and walked a runway to their cars. We have pictures!

Knights Inaugural Visit to DC- A Golden Experience

The Vegas Golden Knights visited for  the first time in the team’s existence and they did not disappoint.  If you have paid any attention to our posts of late you will know that we still have a huge empty space in our hearts where Nate Schmidt used to be. Today we were able to fill that void for just a brief period, and he brought friends.

Erik Haula #56

Deryk Engelland #5

Malcom Subban #30

James Neal # 18 (he threw the puck to this little man during warm-ups!)

David Perron #57

Marc Andre Fleury #29

William Carrier #28

And last but MOST CERTAINLY not least… our boy, Nate Schmidt #88 but #1 in our hearts…

Caps Scrimmage Action Shots- An FiCP Gallery

Well folks, we will keep this short and sweet. We are BACK, the Caps are back to Kettler, our fingers are still defrosting, and we have camera arms. Today was the first scrimmage of the 2017 Washington Capitals Training Camp and playing today were the Red and Blue teams (roster here).

Prior to taking the ice for the 45:00 minute scrimmage each team had a brief practice:

Then there was the main event, and it was filled with hard hits, turnovers, and goals (by Team White who came out on top with four goals to Team Red’s zero.

We are happy to be back and bringing you all the photos we possibly can!!!

The very first pre-season game will take place in New Jersey tomorrow night September 18th… and yes our hearts are still a little sore from losing Mojo to Jersey.

What You Lookin’ At?; A Gallery

The connection I make with each player from behind the lens is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer.

Washington Caps Development Camp Day Two Mornings

Caps prospects were on the ice for their second day . The players were split between two rinks; player testing on the public rink and goalies on the Caps rink.

And fans all over were sharing thoughts about the players and the next season.

Lucas Johansen also took to the ice for the first time today after being under the weather for the first day of camp.

Bears players also joined the goalies on the Caps rink.

So Many Smiles

Game three for the Caps was anything but boring, in fact it was down right dirty. Of course we are talking about the Flyers and their fans. One even went as far as throwing a memorial bracelet for the late Ed Snider at Dmitry Orlov who was getting treatment for injuries sustained during a hit from Bellamare, who has since been suspended for game four of the series. All of this being said we know how hard it is once the game is over, you just want another game! Well to hold you over until 7:00pm we have ANOTHER gallery for you featuring all your faves (excuse the high volume of #46 photos in this one).

So enjoy our game two gallery here, and let us know what you think!

Luck of The Irish Brings Caps a Win; The Gallery

If you missed the Caps last game against Carolina, we have a full re-cap for you right here.

We all love when the boys get the chance to wear something new for warm-ups before the game. Or at least we as photographers do! As promised we have photos a plenty if you were unable to be at the game or missed them because of the crazy traffic like we and so many others got stuck in.

Please let us know what you think and if there is a specific photo that you really enjoy!

As always, please feel free to use our photos but give credit when you do so.

Thanks so much for your continued support  we couldn’t do it without you all!
