Capitals Pass the Stanley Cup to Blues in Season Opener

The Washington Capitals will play their first game of the season on 2 October at Enterprise Center in St. Louis. The 2018 Stanley Cup Champions will effectively transfer the Cup to the Blues as St. Louis hoists the banner and Cup for the first time in their house. It will be a bittersweet moment for the Caps, who remember what it feels like to celebrate such an accomplishment.

The Caps first at-home game at Capital One Arena is slated for Saturday 5 October at 7 pm against the Carolina Hurricanes. A double whammy as this is the team which knocked the Capitals out of the 2019 playoffs.

The full schedule will be released on 25 June at noon. Don’t forget that development camp begins Tuesday as well. Here is info on preseason games.

Those hoping to buy partial season tickets should hear from their reps shortly after the full schedule is out.
