Capitals Play First Preseason at Home Tonight

The Capitals will be back to Capital One Arena for the first time since winning the Stanley Cup. Although it won’t be the full complement of players, five of those winning Caps will be on the ice: Nicklas Backstrom, TJ Oshie, Matt Niskanen, Dmitry Orlov, and Braden Holtby in the net for part of the game.

The Caps report that Ilya Samsanov will be his backup and can be expected to get his first taste of NHL hockey tonight.

The projected line up for tonight against the Bruins in the second meeting of the preseason is:
