The Stanley Cup comes home and The Caps Party On

After a night of celebrating in the Golden Knights backyard, the Washington Capitals and their families touched down in Dulles, Va. and we were in tears all over again.

Hats off to Steve Whyno for capturing some great video and photos of their arrival, which was limited to a select few members of the press.

From the airport they headed down into the night to celebrate with family and friends – or maybe just to sleep. Two busses took them to their cars at the airport while two others went down the Kettler together their cars.

Once at Kettler is was time for family hugs and smiles for fans who were waiting to congratulate them.

And all the equipment is back where it belongs too!

While Backstrom chilled at the pool with Djoos & Burky. Later the players showed up with the Cup at Don Tito in Arlington. Owner Scott Parker shares some insider pics:

TJ Oshie hoisted the Cup from the roof as fan chanted “We Won the Cup.” Kuzy and his wife arrive with his normal flair!
