The Suite Life at Capital One Arena

Wednesday our writer, Caitlin Manner, had some suggestions on how to avoid long lines at The Vault and in the process threw some shade at the Suite People. Little did she know our own Chris Cleveland was partying up a storm in one of them!!

Here is Chris’ take on his experience:I was lucky enough to sit in the Lexus suite level at the Caps game Monday night vs the Sharks. It is really one heck of an experience.

You get to the 300 suite level and are greeted by a really friendly usher who checks your ticket. Then you are off to find your suite.

The suite level is my favorite level in the arena. The hallway is really nice and has fancy carpeting. Sometimes they have Lexus cars around it as well. They also have some very comfy places to sit in basically over-sized lounge chairs, in which you could easily fall asleep.

The suites themselves are extremely nice. I was in Suite 306, right in the Caps shooting end. The suites have their own private bathrooms, so no need to go wonder into the concourse and deal with those long lines. They also have pretty nice coat closets.

When you first walk into the suite you are greeted by a mini kitchen. It has a sink, a fridge, and a large TV as well as some fancy tables and chairs. My suite had all the drinks in the world! The fridge was wide open all night long as we may, or may not have, made cocktails all night haha.

The two rows of seats in the suite provided what I think is one of the best views in the arena! We were in the shooting end but you could easily see the entire rink. In-between periods, we had the Monday night football game on since the TV came with cable.

Overall I give the suite experience a huge A+ from start to finish. An added plus: the Caps finally beat the Sharks, so might need to be in suite 306 every time the Sharks visit!
