Is there anything better than waking up to hockey in the morning? Only hockey with the LA Kings and Canucks in China!!
The NHL, ever looking to expand its market, set up an exhibition game in Shanghai to test the waters. It’s a bit of a challenge as Vice Sports reported, there aren’t even words in Chinese for things like ‘puck.’ But that’s ok- we are sure the host of the 2022 Winter Olympics will get the hang of it just like we have.
We captured some screen shots and tweets for those of you who missed the game. You can try again on September 23 at Huaxi Wukesong’s Le Sports Center in Beijing. Set your clocks; the game is at 0330 on NBCSN. You can live stream it too.
