After a tough schedule and roller coaster of scoring, the Caps have a chance to restart with a clean slate. They have one away game and then cans settle in at home for five in a row – three this week.

Friday is Third Jersey Night!
The Caps will hold a canned food drive on Sunday during the CBJ game. All food collected will go to the Capital Area Food Bank. Fans who donate two or more non-perishable items will receive a Nick Backstrom poster.
The Capitals announced: “ Washington Capitals players Braden Holtby, Nate Schmidt and Tom Wilson will serve as Muscle Team Members during the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s 2016 Muscle Team Gala on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m. at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View in Arlington, Va.”
