One Day ’till Caps Hockey

We’re pretty darn excited that the regular season for Washington Capitals hockey starts Thursday in Pittsburgh. We are even more excited that it comes home to Verizon Center on Saturday. There is a lot to do to get in the mood, if you aren’t already on the edge of your seat.

Here is what the Caps have planned for today:

Caps Letters

“On Tuesday, Oct. 11, and Wednesday, Oct. 12, enlarged individual letters spelling “Capitals” will be placed at different locations throughout the Washington, D.C., region. Fans are invited to take photos at the letters with Red Rockers and mascot Slapshot. Locations will be through the team’s official Twitter account, @Capitals.”

Take in practice at Kettler today at 1030. Get some great pictures or autographs. Here are some hints from our earlier post.   img_5443

And then plan to cheer on the Caps from RFD for a viewing party with the Red Rockers and fellow fans. The partying starts at 7pm.

So dig out those t-shirts, jerseys, and jackets and lets TURN THE TOWN RED!!!!
